Crytocurrency is the future and I must admit I have only been conscious of that fact for a few months after awakening to the gold façade in 2011 instead. A recent catch-up lunch with friends makes you realise just how stuck in the rat race fiat money system most people still are. Some have absolutely no idea what crytocurrency is, the positive impact it will have on the world and the potential is has to vastly enhance their financial freedom.
Many proponents of the old fiat paper money system have been doing best to paint a negative picture of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, but it’s just not working. Whilst improvements can be made (there always will be room for this), the real world applications are truly endless. Furthermore, whilst the relative complexity of cryptocurrencies when compared to conventional currencies may slow the adoption by some in the short term, most will acquiesce once they understand the positive impact they will have on how we live and transact.
Given the recent increase in mainstream media attention in the US and UK e.g. https://www.cnbc.com/video/2017/06/23/heres-what-sets-ethereum-apart-from-its-rival-bitcoin.html
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/jul/01/cryptocurrencies-mainstream-finance-bitcoin-ethereum
it’s easier to see how support for cryptocurrency is only going to increase. The rapidity of this increase is the question. Most people will remain pigeonholed in old school thinking until encountering some sort of catalyst which will awaken them to this new paradigm, a decentralised digital world free from a central banking cartel (and others) hell bent on owning the world and enforcing a prison of debt for circa 99.99% of humanity.
The future of cryptocurrency is looking bright indeed. Many that have invested in the crypto space early have enjoyed the rewards. In the near future I hope all can share in this prosperity and abundance.
