Also, the major Korean exchanges have already said that BCC will be supported, so a large chunk speculative cash that would have otherwise gone into the legacy chain, as well as other altcoins, will likely flow into BCC at launch.
I think a lot of investors that missed out on investing in bitcoin in the early days will view BCC as a second chance to get in at the ground floor.
The fact is - bitcoin cash does have just a tiny bit of support - mainly miners, I very doubt it that there will be any real users or real life implementation (payments) for it. Just a chinacoin, gonna be dumped as soon as users get their "btc capital copy" in their wallets...
I think most coins will go up in value big time towards December. I might even get a real job to buy more coins! Bitcoin will be doubled by this time next year. Like others, I will be buying during the temporary dips!!!
I think that BCC with their 8MB block will make BCC a centralized crypto-currency exactly the opposite of BTC.
In a short term, BCC trading already at around 480$, will gain some interest as you guys said, and probably the price will rise, until people realize the fact that its a scam, and the real BTC is the only long term investment that worth investing in.
in conclusion here is my opinion :
nothing will happen, everything will get back on track and if a new coin shows up its just going to replace bitcoin in value.
that is likely, many people that were invested in bitcoin, will jump into bitcoin cash and bitcoin will go down in market cap

I think prices may continue to slide downward a bit... but a big rally seems to be coming. Really excited and buying the dips :)

The way they are launching and promoting BCC is causing confusion in the cryptocurrency community most of all. Not a good precedent if they gain widespread support.
