The Art of War by Sun Tzu is a classic military script written during the warring era in China, composed of thirteen chapters devoted to aspects of warfare strategy and tactics. Sun Tzu is known as a Chinese military strategist praised for his brilliance and deep understanding of war. The Art of War has been passed down from generations to generations, studied and applied to real life situations, from wars to business. I am going to implement my thoughts of the chapters to crypto trading situation and apply it to my own crypto trading war.
I will be posting my thoughts and implementation on steemit to motivate myself to dig deeper understanding and persistence to complete my goal. I also hope it can contribute something to the community, I will try my best to not mention any currency to avoid leading/misleading trade. I won't be making a direct translation, rather how I understand about it.

凡此五者，將莫不聞，知之者勝，不知者不勝。
- These five factors are known by all generals, those that understand wins, those that doesn't understand doesn't win.
-- The 5 factors mentioned in chapter 1 part 1/2 is really quite a common knowledge that most people will know, the key factor is the difference between knowing and understanding. Only when you understand then will you realize the importance of the five factors used to assess the strength of the currency (crypto currency) and look for ways to implement it.
故校之以計，而索其情，曰：主孰有道？將孰有能？天地孰得？法令孰行？兵眾孰強？士卒孰練？賞罰孰明？吾以此知勝負矣。
- Hence to assess both side's strength and determine which is superior, ask: which side's ruler has the Way? which side's General has better capability? which side benefits from the Sky and the Ground more? which side implements the Law? Which side's army is stronger? which side's soldier and officials is more skilled? which side knows how to reward and punish wisely? By asking these questions, one can know the winner.
-- After doing the research on each currency's (crypto currency) strength according to the five factors, we can make a conclusion for assessing the strength of a currency or comparing two currencies by asking ourselves the question which can be answered from the five factors we researched
將聽吾計，用之必勝，留之；將不聽吾計，用之必敗，去之。
- Generals that follow this will surely win and can be kept, generals that don't follow will surely lose and can be removed.
-- We are the generals in this case, different from the generals from the five factors that is used to assess the strength of the currency. Following these steps before buying any currency will surely be able to lead you to a better decision.
計利以聽，乃為之勢，以佐其外。勢者，因利而制權。
- Upon applying my principles, look for advantages, it will assist unpredictable circumstances.
-- Understand the currency and the five factors leading to the strength and it will help you handle temporary market setbacks and give better vision on when to hodl, buy or sell.
兵者，詭道也。
- Warfare is an art of deception.
-- Be careful of deception, pump and dumper often pay influential figure in social media to give false statement or beautify a currency (crypto currency) just to pump pre bought currencies and sell at high price.
故能而示之不能，用而示之不用，近而示之遠，遠而示之近。利而誘之，亂而取之，實而備之，強而避之，怒而撓之，卑而驕之，佚而勞之，親而離之。攻其無備，出其不意。此兵家之勝，不可先傳也。
- Hence, if able appear as unable, if useful appear useless, if near show as far, if far show as near. If enemy has the advantage, lure them; if enemy is in, chaos conquer them; if enemy is solid, be prepared ; if enemy is strong, avoid them; if enemy is angry, irritate them; if enemy is humble, praise them to make them arrogant; if enemy is relaxed, disturb them; if enemy is in unity, separate them. Attack where enemy is unprepared, go to where they do not expect. This strategy leads to victory in warfare, must not be divulged.
-- Buy when price is low, sell when price is high, hold when price is rising, be prepared when price is falling.
夫未戰而廟算勝者，得算多也；未戰而廟算不勝者，得算少也。多算勝，少算不勝，而況於無算乎？吾以此觀之，勝負見矣。
- Strategize before battle and win, because a lot of factors are included in the calculation; strategize before battle and lose, because few factors are put in the calculation. more factors in calculation brings victory, fewer brings defeat, what more without calculation? From this perspective can clearly predict victory.
-- enough research and factors included in determining the strength will bring better calculation and result in better outcome, not enough research and factors put in might result in a loss, what more if buying a currency without prior research? be cautious and always try to make time to research at least a little, better than nothing.
