I don't think cryptocurrencies were made by the Illuminati, these currencies are way too good and anonymous. I don't think that banks will control something they can't touch and laws can't be made on something they can't track.
Besides, it would be very difficult to control every cryptocurrency, if a "higher government power" got their hands on one, most people would just change their money into another cryptocurrency.
Now, if reptilians were behind all of these, then we're all doomed! D:>
