Thomson Reuters to Power Blockchain Contracts with Experimental Service

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago

As my first ever post I thought I'd introduce myself to the community before delivering some good news for the blockchain community. I'm a Software Engineer within Applied Innovation team at Thomson Reuters. I am currently working on various projects around blockchain technology; whether thats creating SmartContracts or creating tools to interact with the blockchain.

Over the past year the team has been working on Blockchain based ideas to make use of this great innovation and push forward within this booming sector. We have taking good steps forward as a team and currently in phase of experimental development.

In a nutshell; "Released in beta today, a 'smart oracle' called BlockOne IQ (B1IQ) is designed to power smart contracts with the kind of reliable financial information required to let counterparties transact without a middleman. B1IQ allows blockchain participants to leverage the media giant's reputation for providing accurate data about share prices, exchange rates, financial benchmarks and more."

The exact details of the project can be found in the links below.
