EOS Is Gonna Rock Ya [VIDEO]

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

On June 1st, EOS, the massively financed smart contract platform will go live.

EOS was recommended to TDV subscribers at $1.39 on July 15th of 2017 and then fell down near $0.50 soon after… leaving all the trolls to lambaste me for my ‘poor’ pick.

I advised TDV subscribers (subscribe HERE) to double down at $0.50 though, and it has since hit highs over $20.

Now, with the end of the year-long ICO process approaching and the system about to be let loose into the wild, everyone's watching to see what will happen next.

At Libertopia last weekend I spoke with Josh Sigurdson of World Alternative Media about the state of affairs with EOS, Ethereum, bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and more.

You can see it here:

In the last alert for TDV subscribers, we did a full rundown of all our crypto picks and where they may go next. You can access it HERE.

And stay tuned, I’ll soon be releasing my long-awaited follow up to my 2017 hit rap single, ‘Bitcoin All The Way Up’ in the coming weeks.

The new track is titled, “EOS Is Gonna Rock Ya”. Get ready to hear it blasting from the subwoofers of all the crypto kids’ lambos on a street near you.

I’m just glad I bought a good amount of EOS back when Jeff recommended it when it was about $1.50 CDN! Makes me optimistic it’ll help me become mortgage free soon!

Agreed. EIS is awesome and with airdrops, could provide income well into the future!

Yes, I definitely have high hopes for it! I only wish I bought more when it was cheap!

Don’t we all. But it hasn’t launched yet! There is still a lot that could go wrong! But I had the same thing with ethereum!

I bought some Ethereum when it was around $20 CDN! Lucky me!

I sold bitcoin when it tripled to $13 and ethereum when it was at $20. I made a profit on both but.......

Yep, if I was in your shoes, I’d regret selling it, too!

I haven’t sold my Ethereum to date. Just wish I bought a whole lot more!

Just remember to dump before the pump is over!

Well i think its a great platform that is starting its services ..wishing best of luck to them.

Then you should double down and buy more after the dump!

I am also glad to announce the huge promotion

I remember getting into EOS at $1.10, then again at $.90 and one final time at $.60. Made a nice chunk of change, the only problem is I sold way too early, selling at a peak of $6. Live and learn I guess, but no one ever went broke from taking profits

I sold some bitcoin back in the day, when it peaked at $13. You live and Learn!

Hindsight is 20/20. Dont forget to hit the upvote on other peoples comments as well, it goes a long way

Ha! I've done that a few times, but also held on to coins too long and now have to wait till they pick back up again. But you're right, profit is profit. And we're all still learning. I only recently bought EOS when it was about $4,- and look at it now! Much better than having money in the bank :)

Exactly, profit is profit. Will take it any day

Dan is also one of the behind of steem creation, he is a talented guy and they have pretty much have a good team and Dan is also one of the visionary and they know clearly what's the future of cryptocurrencies.

Hey @dollarvigilante, what's your opinion on where the Steem Blockchain is headed with EOS going live? Do you consider it massive competition to Steem/Steemit? Will EOS Smart Contracts overshadow/outpace SMTs (when they eventually do come out) or do you think they are/can be separate use cases that both have a place in the blockchain ecosystem?

I said at the last Steemfest and stick by it that I wish they would focus more on improving Steemit.com... this is where they have first mover advantage the most.

I think Dan has moved on. He has mentioned a Facebook challenger on EOS and this would challenge Steemit!

Yeah, I don't expect Dan to be behind any further improvement of Steemit, for sure. I just hope that Steemit Inc stops messing around and positions itself as quick as can be to compete with EOS, because I've been saying for a while that EOS will be big competition for them.

EOS will take a while to get going after launch but I think it’s going to threaten a lot of existing players in a lot of areas. Hopefully this will lead to consolidation in the space.

Yeah, for sure. It is definitely a big threat to a number of blockchains, specifically Ethereum and Steem (anyone with goals to implement smart contract creation and/or derivative tokens in any regard).

Thanks for weighing in! I personally believe that Steemit/related Steem DApps can be revolutionary, but I also believe that SMTs will be necessary for it to grow exponentially. I think SMTs, if released in a timely fashion, could box their way into a specific market share/use case that would attract businesses aiming to incentivize users through a token and with Steem as the base currency, Steem price would skyrocket.

I do agree that they need to improve the website and that could allow for users to come and stay, especially if it can become more of a social media instead of a social blogging platform.

I think EOS is huge competition for them, though.

I agree with you @dollarvigilante Steemit has already a good user basis and a lot of potential. I don't know what will happen with the arrival of EOS but i do hope steemit continues to improve :)

We are on the same track!

  • I made this post to openly discuss how we can improve steemit.

If EOS work like we expect I believe that it will pass ETH market cap until eoy...

waiting to see what will happen on 1 of june

eos is the future

i love EOS...i hold it from $2

Really cool!

Very useful information. I also believe it's possible that Bitcoin Cash could displace Bitcoin if the BTC team doesn't take care of business properly.

Bix Weir has a beef with EOS because he says Brock Pierce is involved with a pedophile ring.

Brock isn't part of EOS anymore.

He is the owner of Block one

just bought some more EOS

good move

Highly rEsteemed!

Without question the most important aspect of EOS is the fact that like Steem, Bitshares and Peerplays, it utilizes a technology known as graphene. Graphene is thirty magnitudes of ten, faster than Ethereum. If you recall weeks ago when Ethereum went into the dumps, as a result of the three days of backlogs for transactions, Graphene would have been able to handle the three days of backlogged transactions in under a second. This throughput allows for real world scaling like we have not yet seen in terms of applicability. This leads strongly into the second part that makes EOS the ETHEREUM KILLER.

Although I'm still new to Steemit, and growing in my knowledge of crypto, I enjoy watching your videos & your style of delivery, and am wanting to learn more. Thanks for all you do.

Make sure you get it before it runs out, or it will only refund your original ethers!Limited prоmоtiоn. If you're late your transation will be rolled back.

I should have listened... Bought in at $1.70 and sold at $0.50 because of fear... Now im crying in a corner

@dollarvigilante thanks for crypto infomation.

where will it bottom?

So much investing to do just not enough Steem haha 💯🐒

why does SyncFab use Ethereum as blockchain platform? why not EOS?
