Hello, stemians and especially crypto ones,
I welcome you to join the discussion "EITHER or NEITHER." This post has a purpose of initiating discussion about two confronted crypto coins/tokens/platforms. Here we are talking about projects and ideas these platforms are doing and developing without mentioning the current price of their coins/tokens.
Ripple and Stellar are connected with Jed McCaleb. He was a co-founder of Ripple, but he had some disagreements them so he started his own cryptocurrency Stellar Lumens. These two are trying to change and upgrade how banks work today. They both have an ability to handle a lot of transactions (up to 1000) in a short time (2-4 seconds).Their main difference is that Ripple is centralized, and Stellar is decentralized.
RIPPLE- is an open source, peer-to-peer, real-time payment system that can be used for fiat or Ripple token transactions. Ripple uses protocols just like blockchain based cryptocurrencies but in its own unique way, basically it is not built on the blockchain and there is no mining process.
STELLAR- is a decentralized network that consists of "Anchors". The Stellar network has decentralized exchange were anything that stellar Anchors hold can be traded. Stellar is more based to facilitate payments between people. There is a limited number of Stellar tokens, and they are growing by inflation of 1% yearly until they hit the limit.
You are welcome to give support by commenting, upvoting and resteeming. Remember it is all about building quality community. I would like to see what do you think about these two and which would you pick? RIPPLE-STELLAR-NEITHER?
