I appreciate your kind words, @cabbagepatch! I'm very glad you're finding the posts and the book helpful. I really do agree that growing up without a lot of excess things is helpful. We had to use our imaginations a lot to keep ourselves entertained. We also had to work to make our own money from a very young age. This taught me the value of a dollar.
