Hi @ericwilson !
First, thanks a lot for presenting our application in your video.
FYI, I'm the developer of the app and @sebbbl, the other half of the project, focuses on marketing.
By the way, I'm French, so excuse me in advance for the typos / word misuses and strange syntaxes.
Let me answer some questions you asked during the video:
1) ShareFROMSteem ? I would love to see an app that allows exactly the opposite: from Steem to other social networks. The problem here is (I thought a lot about it) credentials. With Steem you have SteemConnect that allows to make some operations on someone's account with him keeping the liberty to revoke tokens when he wants. On other social medias, you don't have this possibility (except for some, like Twitter that has an API, but in this case, it's often a bit complicated for a "normie" to obtain this token and give it to you). The only way to do that is to ask people for their social media accounts' passwords, so that implies a lot of responsibility in case your database is compromised. Responsibility that I think is, for now, too great to handle.
2) Account creation : The first tests should be done soon. For now we just have enough to claim one account, and after that we need to delegate to the new account. So we're not ready yet to implement that feature on a scale big enough to begin attracting users directy from Instagram / Twitter or Youtube with marketing on these platforms (but we're setting the stage). But we will make sure we are ready for it when our SP allows it. And also, there's a lot of problems to think about : how to counter abuse in account creation ? dApps that propose it rely on phone verification. For me, that's not ideal and I'm still thinking about the verification system I would like for my dApp.
3) Since when ? We began a month ago with @steemigram that was just from Instagram to Steemit. It was alpha stage. We then changed the name to Share2Steem and added Twitter and Youtube a week later : that was beta. 10 days ago, we released the v1 and began promotion on Steemit.
4) Data :
For Twitter and Instagram, all text is stored on the blockchain. The images are stored on steemitimages, and videos are where they are (depending on the source),
For YouTube, only the text is on the blockchain.
5) General thoughts : You said it, for us the goal of this app is to be an entry point, generate interest in Steem for traditional social media users. Let them first continue what they were doing and getting the rewards. Once they see they are paid for something they were doing for free, it should make them want to know more about Steem. Next stage is for them to create "Steem-exclusive" content, and eventually to migrate all their social media activities on Steem. The app should be transitional, our goal is not to have users that are on our app forever (even if we don't mind the benefactor rewards), it should be transitional. And also, for the time saving it implies. Some people are already multi-streaming, cross-posting with IFTTT, reposting some contents on other platforms, etc... We propose to make that a little bit faster for the medias we propose to Steem.

Wow, thank you for answering those questions!
I will be delegating to help the cause and I look forward to seeing it grow!
Thanks for speaking about our app in your video, and thanks to @patrickulrich also for his post that draws some attention to the app.
And thanks in advance for the delegation !
Helpful, thanks
