My Thoughts on eHarvestHub (TL;DR: DO NOT WANT)

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemians,

I enjoyed researching my previous post so much that I just couldn't wait to dig into another whitepaper! I actually thought it made some good points (despite really needing to hire a proofreader), but then I started following the money trail!

Turns out that eHarvestHub's first million dollars came from a man named Tim Draper, who has the odd claim to fame of buying up a bunch of Bitcoins at a US Marshall auction which had been seized in the raid on Silk Road. Now, I don't know much about online black markets, but I do know a thing or two about secret societies, and Timmy's dad William Draper III is a member of Skull and Bones! In fact, Will Draper III attended Yale with former Director of Central Intelligence, president, and fellow Bonesman George H. W. Bush, although he graduated a year later and so would not have been initiated as part of the same class. He did, however, serve as co-chairman of finance for Bush's 1980 presidential campaign, and on Bush's advice in 1986 he was appointed by President Reagan as CEO of UNDP.

It gets even better, though. William Henry Draper, Jr. was a US Army general who sold bonds for the Soviet Union and was on the wrong side of the Alger Hiss case (Mole? What mole?), so it's very interesting that he was also selected as the first US Ambassador to NATO, which was basically created as an anti-Soviet Union alliance. But wait, there's more! In 1932 then-Major Draper financed the third "International Conference on Eugenics", founded the "Population Crisis Committee", and served as Congressman Bush's "population expert.

Now, I'm liable to give the younger Draper the benefit of the doubt, that just because he comes from a family of practicing eugenicists doesn't mean that he himself is a eugenicist, but in order to do that I would have to ignore the whole premise of eugenics, which is that bloodline matters! Anyone who is deathly afraid that his progeny will interbreed with genetically inferior people is going to have a STRONG incentive to instill said fear in said progeny!

At this point, I've learned enough to give eHarvestHub a wide berth. I'm crazy for cryptos, but I'm also well aware of Catherine Austin Fitts' warning that the deep state is staging a hostile takeover of them in order to create a single global currency which they can turn off and on at will in order to control the populace. Now, I think theirs is a fool's errand, but I do feel duty-bound to research all the offerings out there, so that we can discriminate friend from foe.

Still, I have to say that eHarvestHub does have some good ideas in terms getting rid of the parasitic middlemen of the food and agriculture industry. I learned a lot about trucking, for example I had no idea that independent truckers got such a bum deal in working with the brokers who arrange shipping. The biggest problem besides the pure evil angle is the "preferred currency" EHH token. By forcing (or coercing) customers into using your token, you're only going to be reducing the number of potential tokens.

There are some other interesting ties among eHarvestHub's roster. Most of them seem innocuous, although it's interesting that the whole IT department is based in Nicaragua, with everyone else in the US. I'm guessing that's because they're getting paid partly in EHH tokens, and the cost of living in Nicaragua is so much lower. Among the advisors mentioned in the whitepaper, Heather Richman and Felix Maradiaga caught my attention. Ms. Richman formerly worked for US Senator Chuck Schumer and is currently a Senior Advisor to the US Navy's Energy Accelerator. From her bio, "She is [also] Managing Director of GreenLight
Strategies, where she works to catalyze the commercialization of technologies build [sic] by and for the U.S. Department of Defense. (p. 37) Naturally, she describes herself as working in the "private sector".

Mr. Maradiaga is a former Secretary General of the Nicaraguan Ministry of Defense, giving eHarvestHub access to both the American and Nicaraguan military establishments. Now, didn't I read something about the US occupying Nicaragua for 22 years? And wasn't the stated reason of that occupation to deny any other power from building a Nicaragua Canal? Well, it looks like the same folks are now working to keep a new economic resource from falling into "enemy hands"!

Excellent research and great dot connecting! It's extremely interesting stuff, and I will definitely have a read of your previous crypto posts as well. I'm going to see what else I can find on eHarvestHub.

Thank you, sir! Good hunting.
