I know but I don't think you guys know. A masternode coin randomly picks ONE masternode out of say 1000 to receive a reward. So you have 1/1000 chance of getting the reward every cycle. So I think there was more than 1000 CHC master nodes maybe 2600? If you own 3 master nodes you get 3/1000 or 3/2600 chance to receive the reward and so on. There is a large element of luck.
Any calculator you saw just averaged it out and assumed everyone got the same rewards. You may have got lucky and made more or unlucky and got less. Over a long period of time on average the calculator was probably semi accurate.
You only get rewards worth anything if the coin is worth something. There are other coins out there that work like you THINK masternodes work. They offer service nodes. But service nodes are only worth it once the company has become successful and have a proper platform and have businesses using their service.
