An affiliate link can be thought of as redirected advertising and basically targets people with an internet following to gain access to their followers. A ponzi scheme is just fraud and totally immoral. If you do make money from it it is at someone else's expense. That someone may be the "bigger fool" but does not deserve to be ripped off.
