Since the beginning of August, Antshares (now rebranded as NEO) has been gaining a ton of traction. A few up days, then a down day, then more up days...this seems to be it's trend in August.
Many are saying NEO may be China's Ethereum. So, what do you think?

Dont know if its china ethereum but its pretty impressive.

What is the best, smartest approach to take?
I think there will be an opportunity to get in on a dip. BTC is just too crazy to know where alts will swing.
What trading software or alert programs do you all utilize? (So you don't have to constantly monitor)
Mainly just monitoring. I only trade a handful of altcoins so I don't have to monitor too closely. If I'm worried about a loss, I jump out.
