Have you ever tasted cryptocurrencies? They taste amazing! At the moment they taste digital but later on they will taste like PLA and later on....who knows! ;-)

I am now officially owner of the Original Prusa printer! :-). My husband decided to give away his 3D printer to me. So now I have two printers but I am going to give away the old printer to my sons so they can practice. I am happy he gave away his Prusa 3d printer. I still can not believe that he gave it away just like that. I think he realises that I print more than he does. So I guess I am going to have more fun printing now. Both printers are located in the kitchen because the noise the printers are making.

This is going to be a large and long 3D project and that is why I have to split it in parts. This is part 1.
As usual I will begin with a 3D tutorial on Fusion 360.

Tutorial

I started with looking for images of the 5 cryptocurrencies I believe are popular. First I sketched 5 circles of 3.5 cm. This is going to be the final size. I inserted the logo of Steem, Bitcoin, Eos, Ethereum and Dash into Fusion 360. Then I retraced the logos with Spine. I also offset the circles so they won't be too simple.

The 5 logos I extruded around 1.5 cm each and smoothened the circles with 2mm using Offset.

The cryptocurrency box

For the box I sketched a rectangle of 23 cm by 6 cm.

Then I offset the rectangle with 5 mm and extruded the inner part. I also gave the box a divider and simply copy them 4 times.

I also sketched a cover for the box and the text Cryptocurrencies on top of the cover.

The text I extruded with 1.5 mm operation Cut.

I am very curious how they will look like when I can indulge them because they are very small and have many small details.

See you soon in part 2 of my post!

iv bought lobsters with money from cryptos but never tasted them native like here )

hahaha! I bought sushi with it! Thanks for checking out @kingscrown :-)

Hope that will taste good.

Have a great day and stay blessed.

That looks pretty neat. A Prusa with a 0.4mm nozzle ought to give you plenty of detail on the logos, for the most part. You might find the thickness of each coin a little much, once you have them in hand, but overall that looks like a very clean design.

Thanks @lextenebris. Yes, you are right. The coins look too thick,( I see it now) but you can have a proper bite in each coin :-D.

This is very true.

The way I figure these things is that I really only want a coin to be up about 6 mm thick if I'm going with a nozzle of 0.4 mm and a general overall width of 35 mm. That way the sides are about 1/5 or so of the width of the coin, and then if I want to do something exciting like patterned cut outs around the edge or some sort of knurling I have enough material to work with but not so much that the whole thing gets complicated and to little detail to actually print.

It's a fairly narrow path to walk.

hahaha! I guess you don't know what I'm going to make :-D. But that's good. it's a surprise then. ;-)

So great post my friend @fathin-shihab.

Crypto-delicious! :D

Yes, for sure! :-D

Its's fantastic effort @fathin-shihab.
Excellent lessons for how to create 3D cryptocurrencies.

Now that is some real eye candy - a pleasure for the eyes and the taste buds. These could come in very handy during moments when the market is chaotic , you eat one of these and you will feel more relaxed hehe - awesome design project ! And very nice of your husband to give you this printer !

Yes, the market is looking chaotic after China's ban on Bitcoin which affects all crypto currencies. It was indeed nice of him to give it away t his wife. :-) I am a bit nervous if the end product will come as I want :-( Thank you!

It's going to be exciting to follow the process - but I have a feeling it's gonna work out real well

Extremely superb creative work. Best graphical tutorials and instructions would be help to beginners.

Now that's a complete great box :D worth of millions

details truly look amazing onto that perfect loved the steem one the most and you know it haha :)

yes, the steem one is also my favourite one ;-)

you should make for every coin you hold haha that would remain in memory :D its wonderful

That's gonna be a lot of printing hahaha!

wooah.....apakah ini project 3D yg paling besar dan lama yang pernah @fathin-shihab buat?

Iya, ini yang paling besar Karena tidak nge print saja. Makasih.

Pretty good news for you i guess !Keep on going !

Wow!😊😊
I really like the artwork that brings positive ideas closer to people
Must be supported...
I`ve re-steemed!
Thank you for your wonderful work😊

Can't wait for that. ... Am also trying to it BT nt getting.... Can u be more explanatory in part 2

I always try my best to explain what I am doing in details ;-)

cryptocurrency box how delicious is that ;)

Great and amazing post @fathin-shihab.
