Publica (www.publica.io) created a platform for publishing books digitally on the blockchain. They were recently mentioned in an article as a real use case, alongside Brave & Steemit (www.coinbureau.com/blockchain/products-you-can-use-today).
The concept is that authors can pre-sell tokens to the right to buy their book. The ICO pre-sale tokens are discounted over the regular book price, and you purchase them using the Publica PBL ERC-20 token. Once the ICO is over, the author publishes the book to the blockchain. Holders of the token then use it to buy the book on Publica.
When you buy a book on Publica you own the digital copy. That means you can transfer it, sell it, trade it or just hold onto it. You bought it, you own it. You can use it as you please. There are some books already listed in the Publica catalog. Now that the author ICO platform has launched there will be more ICO’s and books published. It’s a good blockchain use case, and a great way to support the growth of Publica.
All of the information about the book and how the book ICO works can be found at:

I’d appreciate any support you can provide me and my ICO by checking it out. You can buy a copy of the book during the ICO for only $1.99. It’s cheap enough that you can experiment with the platform and participate. It’s a great way to learn about Publica and participate in a new blockchain use case.
