There will definitely be an Impact when Quantum Computer hit the mainstream markets, this would mean Developers at some point would need to recognize any potential future vulnerability if it were to arise

@gaitan, this is a difficult but interesting question. I can not evaluate and rate these innovation but it seems to me that in the first period, quantum computer will be used in security and data transmission. Later, I suppose, it will be implemented in engineering and business.
And, of course, it will take time until quantum computers will be available for the general public. The article from @steemitguide is a nice response to different questions regarding this. In conclusion, the blockchain will be safer than other technologies.
