Are You A Cryptocurrency Expert? Leverage That Knowledge – Advise The Wealthy.

Become A Cryptocurrency Investment Advisor & Earn!

A recent survey of high net worth individuals reported that 29% of millionaires have a high degree of interest in cryptocurrency investments and 27% were somewhat interested. A combined total of 56%.

Yet only a third of those individuals had received information about cryptocurrency investing from their wealth managers.

The report stated “the strong demand for information on cryptocurrencies from younger HNWIs is likely to force wealth management firms to at least develop and offer a point of view during the months ahead.”

Hmm, that sure sounds like an opportunity to me!

If you spend hours per day reading or watching videos on the latest cryptocurrency news, ICO’s, projects, and markets – why then you just may be an expert!

Don’t underestimate yourself. You probably know more about cryptocurrency than 99% of the world’s population, even if you think you don’t. Often a knowledgeable person underestimates the knowledge they hold. It’s called the “Imposter Syndrome.”

I am telling you right now, most people have no clue about how cryptocurrency works and what it can do. But you probably do, and that knowledge is valuable. It makes you valuable to that group of 56% of high net worth people interested in cryptocurrency.

All you have to do is make yourself known as an expert in cryptocurrency.

But what makes a person an expert in cryptocurrency in the eyes of other people? I mean there is no degree to earn and display.

- Write A Book

The best way, still, is to write a book.

There is just so much authority behind having written a book. Maybe that’s why the words are author and authority?
Don’t be afraid about this strategy. You CAN write a book. It doesn’t have to be the best book on the subject, just good enough. Most people won’t read the whole thing either.

A good strategy for writing this book is to contact other cryptocurrency authorities for a quick interview. By linking yourself to them through your book, you automatically lift yourself up to a higher level. Because they are in the book, they will also give you a nice blurb for you to include on the cover.

- Start A Video Channel

By starting a DTube or YouTube channel you will build a following and your name.

Often people will see anyone with a large subscriber base and video view count as an expert. Why? Because so many people can’t be wrong, right? (That’s not true, but most people see it that way)

By having a loyal following it also opens up other avenues for income, like paid courses and personal cryptocurrency consulting.

Certainly you can see the benefit of earning consulting experience at a lower level before attempting to court the high net worth people.

-Start Your Own Crypto

If you have the skills, you could create a new coin. That would certainly impress.

-Other Ways

You could also build subject matter authority by creating content on a website, blog, or podcast. But I think that these ways are a slower and longer road.

Another way would be to use your personal networking circle, but you would have to have a pretty darn powerful one to begin with. It is more likely that building your authority by book, video, or ICO would then allow you to break into those circles.

Conclusion

I’m not saying it would be easy, but becoming a personal cryptocurrency wealth consultant is an area that is rising in need. If you could position yourself properly and ride the wave you would see a lot of money come your way.

Does this challenge sound like an interesting one to you?

Sort:

I spend way to much time reading about cryptos, right now i have so many coins that i want to invest in...

My two fav projects:

  • EOS- i think the dPoS is a great way to scale up a blockchain, at least before Eth can catch up, but it might never be able to... The problem is that we have to "trust" 21 Block producers like we do on STEEM

  • VEN- love this one, it's still a token but mainnet is coming out later this month, it's basically a supply blockchain that can keep track of, for example, food, you can pay Thor(which VEN gives) and look at the whole history of the food you are buying, for example storage temperature, where it came from, etc... it already has great ties to some of THE BIGGEST companies in the world like PwC and DNV GL...

Need to increase my portfolio on "famous" good coins like:

  • Eth
  • NEO
  • XLM

I still need to look more into other projects which i've only glanced at like:

  • ENJ (i'm loving this coin going to do a post about it when i have time...)
  • Docademic
  • ICON
  • aelf
  • Fun

ok i'm going stop here xD I might start doing videos about the certain coins like you mentioned in your post, or at least blog posts about them, i'm a little camera shy so i find writing about them a little easier...

My comment almost looks like a whole post xD

Yeah, run with it man!

Being a cryptocurrency expert is easy. All you have to do is be skeptic about everything and know that ICOs will end in a burning fireball. It also helps to know a cryptocurrency that isn't in the top 20 cryptocurrencies that is highly undervalued and be able to say why. Bonus: be critical towards Bitcoin, but name the reasons why it controls everything and why it will probably go up again.

Btw, I know all of this. Anyone wanna buy some knowledge? ;)

Definitely a short but high quality E-book is a good route to go.

Then go to an Affiliate platform like JV Zoo or Warrior Plus and place it for promotion there.

Also going to Warrior Forum to Market your E-book is a good option. They have their own Marketplace to get sales from that.

Just make sure that the E -book is transparent. If you have a whole lot knowledge about Crytpo but little trading or investing experience please disclose that !

The best scenario would be if you have real experience with real success in investing/trading Cryptos and highly knowledgeable. And then write and market the E-book

Nice tips, Rob!

I have spent a lot of time looking into cryptocurrencies but definitely don't think of myself as qualified to offer financial advice at all. In fact, I was thinking just he other day ow happy I am that I did not convince people to buy into Bitcoin towards the end of last year. I would feel very guilty if I was at all responsible for friends / family losing money.

With regards to wealth managers not really recommending crypto to their clients is because in my mind, wealth managers are actually risk averse. They are all about consistency. Start investing a set amount early on in your life and you are guaranteed financial stability later on in life. Sure there is value in putting a portion into the high risk category, but I don't think wealth managers are happy with the crypto risks (at least for their clients) just yet. I think the number of scams and pyramid schemes in the crypto world are also preventing more mass adoption!

I think the number of scams and pyramid schemes in the crypto world are also preventing more mass adoption!

Right on the money there, and that is what I said in my article about the coming fall of Bitcoin.

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@getonthetrain/the-case-for-usd1-000-bitcoin

@getonthetrain I like this Idea about becoming a CryptoCurrency Advisor but at this point in time I will let the youngsters fill this Niche. I like to dabble in many things but I am not ready to devote the time it would take to put myself out there on a daily basis and then have to be on a schedule.....

What about this ico?

Scam.

How about this one?

Scam.

Easiest job ever.

Haha! Yeah, but the trick is to find the gold nugget in all the dirt.

Yeah i'm noticing a lot of crypto related jobs in my Linkedin feed these days as well. Another opportunity that looks good is crypto trader at a hedge fund.

There ya go - people are giving out money for those that have the crypto knowledge.

Ai at impostor syndrome this is just so me! I started curating a block chain based account for young women on Instagram. I wouldnt consider myself an expert but I am a life long learner and I also love imparting knowledge.

What's the name of the Instagram account?

Solid advice man!
If you are passionate about it, you can make it happen too.

Yeah, you have to WANT it (It won't be handed to you) :D

Your right, your right , your right. I always worried about officially being a "Cryptocurrency Investment Advisor" and that someone would somehow attach some sort of law onto that and say that it was giving advice without a license. They obviously do it all the time for real estate seminars and build your own business type stuff.

I made a judgement error for sure though putting time into my YouTube channel and then them never monetizing me.

Honestly the one thing that I honestly should do is start my own crypto currency social media site like this but have a fair distribution. I have a couple other people who would be on board but we don't really have enough money to get it rolling and ICOs have lost their luster for the time being and I wouldn't want to go that route because of potential securities laws.
