Introducing Blockterm: a Cryptocurrency Monitoring Terminal, created in part by me, a fellow Steemian~!

Hi Steemians!
I've been participating from the sidelines of Steem for over 2 months now, and have absolutely loved it! However, I struggled to think of content I felt especially proud of, worthy of sharing on this awesome blockchain. That changes today!

I am honored to introduce a project that my friends and I have been working on this past month and a half: Blockterm!

Blockterm, named to mean 'Blockchain Terminal', is a cryptocurrency monitoring terminal accessible for free from any web browser at https://blockterm.com.

It is fully customizable to suit any cryptocurrency content-creator's/supporter's/investor's needs. As Steemians, our rewards are deeply tied to the strength of the cryptocurrency market, and the value of our and other coins. With Blockterm you can customize your dashboard to follow/hunt charts and trends of almost every cryptocurrency-- all in one neat place. Both STEEM and SBD (Steem Dollars) are offered from multiple exchanges, and in multiple trading pairs.

I have attached a couple gifs displaying just a few of the functionalities. My favorites are charts, twitter feed, and portfolio!

Currently Blockterm supports 8 widgets to customize one's dashboard. They are:

1. Advanced Live Candle Chart: Candle chart of up-to-date price and volume action of any cryptocurrency of your choosing. Pictured above, on the top left, are STEEM:USD and STEEM:BTC candle charts. The advanced candle charts allow you to inspect prices at any time as well as select the range you want to inspect.

2. Total Market Cap: a must have and great way to gauge the holistic strength of the cryptocurrency market as a whole.

3. Twitter Feed: live stream of tweets for a range of coins

4. Portfolio Valuation/Distribution: keep track of your coin portfolio and your coins’ worth; easily visualize your holding distribution and value by coin.

5. Market Overview: A panel that displays a more concise overview of many different prices of the highest market cap cryptos, and option to toggle comparison currency between USD/BTC/Euro/KR Won.

6. Subreddit Posts Count: Subreddit posts count was something we were very curious about going into the creation of a cryptocurrency monitoring service. After analyzing the data, we found the correlation between forum/community posts and price action to be extremely high, if not higher than correlation to market volume. Thus we built these widgets to share to the wonderful cryptocurrency and Steem community.

7. Subreddit Comments Count: Similar reasoning behind Posts Count, but with more data!

8. Bitcoin Dominance: Visual graph of bitcoin/ethereum dominance relative to all other coins, tracked throughout history

Each of these widgets can be repositioned, resized, and added and deleted at your command. Blockterm also supports toggling of 'Night' and 'Day' mode, and in-depth comparison of subreddits/community activity.

Today marks the one month anniversary of the release of the beta of Blockterm. We would really love your feedback on our work, and what features you would like to see built in the near future! We aim to continue to please the wonderful community surrounding cryptocurrencies, and Steem-- of course!

(Submitted by one of our avid members, showing off his day-trading setup!)

Thanks for reading about my most recent creation; Much love to all fellow Steemians!

Nick

Wow, this looks pretty useful. I really like the setup in that last picture, wish I had something like that :P

I'm looking forward to trying the portfolio feature, any plans on supporting price alerts?
