i think the major problem people have with this is that it is just another centralized payment system and isn't really anything new or anonymous. You are correct about it only needing your email address and the "invites" is a bunch of garbage, it simply makes it feel exclusive and encourages people to do the advertising for them. Nothing wrong with that i guess.

I think the biggest problem i have with it is that they advertise it in a way of making people believe it is going to be the next bitcoin and "don't you feel like an idiot for missing out on BTC? now's your chance to fix that!"

Totally with you there. They look to attract attention by those references to Bitcoin and by making it look like a limited commodity. After reading their materials, their goal of reaching 1$ per Q seems certainly out of touch with reality.

But hey, I've seen shadier project pitches and if someday they reach even a fraction of what they're aiming for, that's a win for me ;)
