RE: Let's Talk—What Brings You To The World Of Cryptocurrencies?

I am similar to you in. That I discovered bitcoin in 2011 and started mining with my graphics card. I loved the concept and bought one of the first ASICS, easily making back the dollar value but struggling to regain a third of the bitcoins I spent on it due to the explosion in difficulty.

I started (and continue) because I love the technology. I have done quite well due the price increase but overall, it’s the tech that keeps me interested. Unfortunately, most get involved hoping to make a quick buck and I’m sure many have/ will lose their shirt.

It was easier in the early days. I wish I wasn't broke and had the money to try mining in 2010-2011 and carry it forward. But gfx cards were expensive then and they are even today from perspective of mining any serious amount of BTC or cryptos with similar complexity in my country. It's not profitable in a short span of time given the import duties on them.
