Blood On The Floor
These are my opinions only. Do your own research before making investments in any crypto currency.
It's been a real bloodbath the last 24 hours in the crypto markets. If you were one of the losers, I feel your pain. I lost on a couple coins too.
However, you should look at this downturn in the markets as an opportunity. The whole point of investing is to buy low and sell high. What better time to buy low than after a nasty market correction?
I believe there are several coins that lost a little value recently due to investors selling high. But many of those coins are going to dust themselves off and start marching right back up again.
I will list just a few that I think are good buys right now.
Golem (GNT)
The Golem Project actually didn't take as much of a beating today as some of the other coins below, so I'd like to address it first.
The Golem Project is basically going to be a sort of "world computer". Essentially there will be thousands of computers all over the world ready and waiting to process various computer tasks for a fee. This is a massively parallel computer the size of which the world has never seen before.
Golem's first release, Bronze Golem, has not even been released yet, and the GNT token is already worth about $0.59. The project's GitHub page shows that Bronze Golem is about 11 days behind schedule. But you better believe when it is finally released the price is going to launch into an upward trajectory that might just take your breath away.
This first release of Golem will be limited to rendering CGI graphics as a proof-of-concept. After Bronze, Golem will move into its next phase, Clay Golem.
Clay Golem will be much more capable than Bronze Golem. It will be a more generalized computing platform, allowing for a lot more functionality than just rendering beautiful CGI images blazingly fast. This version will also add support for outside developers to integrate with the Golem network. This is where the true potential of Golem will begin to be realized. The possibilities are endless.
Further along the roadmap Stone Golem and Iron Golem will be released. With these releases much more functionality will be integrated into Golem. Security and stability will increase. Iron Golem will include the ability for software executing inside of Golem to access the Internet - it will no longer be locked down in a sandbox. This will open up all kinds of new and exciting possibilities.
The future is bright for Golem in my opinion. If the team is able to deliver, and I think they will, Golem will be a truly stunning development for the entire world.
Gnosis (GNO)
Gnosis is new platform that will essentially be an expert prediction market. Users all over the world will be able to make "predictions" on virtually any topic. Those who are correct will be rewarded with a new token called Wisdom tokens (WIZ). These are to be pegged in value to $1 each.
There are many possible use cases for Gnosis. These include predictions about financial markets, sports betting, pre-auction art valuation, and even celebrity gossip. I'm sure there are many more possibilities that haven't been conceived of yet.
Monero (XMR)
While there are many coins which profess to be anonymous, most of them were not designed to be that way from the beginning. Their anonymity features were bolted on later in their development.
Not so with Monero. From day one Monero has been designed for the ultimate in anonymity. Monero is already gaining ground in one of the most popular use cases for anonymous exchange of value - illicit markets of all sorts.
Not that I am condoning that sort of activity, but the very fact that this special "segment" of society is already adopting Monero lets me know that Monero is doing something right. Expect to see widespread adoption of Monero in the not-so-distant future.
I'm not sure how often I'll be posting articles on here, but why not follow me just in case? Who knows, I might have another few ideas to help you out down the road a ways. Good luck and have fun!!
Ethereum turned out to be a rocket..I got out too early at $300 it went to $360 now $330..all over the place
Don't sell on a bad day! be patient!
Interesting tech :) I am also waiting for quantum computers, that combined with golem well eat old school calculations for breakfast
I think Monero is underestimated as well. Privacy in payments will be at the forefront of everyone's mind eventually.
