I am assuming you will invest in the this ICO and then buy more when it hits the Exchanges when the price of the tokens usually spikes up each time a token starts on new exchange...
This is the strategy I used in November 2017 on couple of ICO unfortunately , I chose two that was shady and would not allow me to withdrawal then finally they exit scammed.

I am not too good as a day trader so in most times I invest in projects that I find HQ and potentially profitable in the mid-long term... So I usually don't play to many trading games... If the team is good they will follow their roadmap and my tokens will be worth much more in a year or two...
Agree...if team and the project are solid from the beginning, it should have a better chance of survival in the long run with so many ICOs failing.
