I've been hodling on some BTC I bought at ~2400, so I'm pretty happy at the moment!
About the value of Steem, I think we need to see more applications that accept Steem as payment, that kind of mainstream usage is what will increase the value of Steem. I don't think Steem will be that valuable if it is used only by Steemit.

Regarding Steem I got a slightly different opinion as I think the value will increase the more people are using Steemit. More people = higher demand = higher Prices ;)
