Looking at my crypto portfolio today, I couldn't help noticing how much the price of Litecoin has increased recently compared to other coins, as you can see from the picture below (16.88% in the last 24 hours and 3.39% in the last hour).
Now, what has caused this sudden rise in Litecoin's price? Well, there are two reasons.
The first reason is the Litecoin payment app Litepay, which will be released within two weeks [1]. Litepay would allow customers to receive Litecoin payments from anywhere on earth directly to their bank accounts in their own currency. In my opinion, Litepay would be a real game changer for Litecoin, as it would allow for fast and easy international payments.
The second reason is Microsoft planning to use Litecoin besides Bitcoin and Ethereum, for their Decentralized Identity System [2].
There might be other reasons too of which I am unaware. Anyway, it is a good time for Litecoin hodlers :)! Moreover, I would expect the price of Litecoin to rise a bit further.

We will use Litecoin with LitePay in daylife. So it is positive situation for Litecoin price and i trust Litecoin's creator who Charlie Lee. He is smart man

yeah met too , I trust him also . Recently I was reading an article about Charlie lee, someone accused him to manipulate the market with his twitter account, his reaction on this accusation was to sell al his litecoins. I think I wrote even an article about it in 1 of the few blog's I have if I'm not mistaken. I look out to the launch of litepay I think it's going to be a great service.
Litepay seems to be an awesome service indeed :) Would really bring Litecoin to the mainstream.
what do you think about Litecoin cash , I saw on twitter that he is warning to watch out for scam and that it's not related in any way to Litecoin . It's a shame that the crypto world is a lot of trowing mud and backstabbing it could be so much more if we all worked together instead of getting divided , the governments divides us already enough is it not ?
The other reason may be due to rising interest in cryptocurrencies and diversification away from bitcoin are behind litecoin's rise.

Litecoin is awesome, so much more useful than BTC in most ways!
