Agreed that many coins will disappear and this will be a good thing for the crypto market.
One thing you may want to look into is XLM (Stellar) that will be backing the new FairX exchange that IBM seems to be contributing to. https://github.com/stellar/docs/pull/253 is proof that IBM's Michael Dowling is involved. He is the "Director, Chief Architect, Blockchain Financial Services at IBM Research", title taken from his LinkedIn.
Also do you mind expanding on the LTC comment you put in? I don't follow too closely with LTC, but would be interested in learning more about how it is one of the ones that will die out.
