[Cryptocurrency] My experience with Shakepay virtual Debit Card!

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago

Last night I was looking into services / providers of digital currencys debit cards.

Made some major research by googleing around of the diffrent alternatives, the provider I found most intressting was ShakePay.

So first off I decided to contact the support with some basic questions to see how fast they replyed, within an 1 hour I got all my tricky questions answered.

After that I registered an account @ https://shakepay.co

Selected a virtual debit card and selected Dash as payment method, added 1 Dash (45USD) at that time. Within 5 minutes the transaction was confirmed and I got all the card details. I did also recieved a text message to my phone that it was loaded with 45 USD.

Headed over to paypal and connected the card with out any issues.

Finally I decided to make my first purchace with the card, went over to Ebay and orderd this amazing gaming t-shirt :)

As you can see the order went smooth and my t-shirt is on it's way!

I'm very satisfied by the support and user experience of Shakepay, that's why I wanted to share it with you!

Currently they are accepting Bitcoin, Dash and Ethereum. But you can contact their support with suggestions of more coins as payments.

Hope you enjoy my experience review!
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

hi @iminecoinz are you still using shakepay? how does it work? do you use with btc, dash eth or ltc?

You can use it with all those coins you just listed but the fees are 15 dollars which is crazy

I actually attempted to sign up for their service this afternoon. It did not give me an option for the US in registration. Granted, this was from the android app. I'll have to try the website. I contacted support in regards to the app.

I'm glad to see a review about the service!

I'm happy that you like my review! :) maybe I've should have mention this "We know there is a huge demand from our friends in the US -- we're working hard on getting Shakepay to you." https://help.shakepay.co/visa-debit-card/what-countries-can-shakepay-issue-to not

Not sure if it's the same with virtual debit cards, hope it works out for you!

I have not had the chance to play with it much. I have been playing with cloud mining so I have been side tracked.

I did email them about there fees though. Comparing Shakepay to Bitpay, it almost seems like Bitpay is a better, more cost effective option.

hei man, do you still use this service?
