According to media, #Japanese exchange has lost $530 million in #cryptocurrency due to hacking.
Koicgiro Wada, president of #Coincheck said in a news conference on Friday night. He said that the company may seek financial assistance. He also apologized to their #customers for the inconvenience.
The Coincheck exchange update on its #website that it had stopped sales and withdrawals of the #currency, which is also called The NEM. Later they added that the exchange had also restricted dealings in other cryptocurrencies as well.
Coincheck exchange further added that unauthorized access is detected to its #system on Friday.
