Perhaps there is room for both. My thoughts were that BTC will be used for bigger transactions because of volume and liquidity... With mega miners going for the biggest percentage there. That would leave room for smaller scale miners to focus their efforts on smaller bch transactions.
But now it looks like the big boys will make BCH the place for bigger transactions and mutual fund investing. And so BTC will be more of a day-to-day, otc currency. Japan and many other countries are publicly embracing btc... So with all the buzz going around about the 1% and disgusting wall st corruption, I would hope people are smart enough to boycott that bullshit. Sadly there will always be those slimeballs who suckle the teet of big money, like kiss asses trying to get a piece, and maybe one day join the "elite."
I am happy to see the establishment adapting as they must though, as at least block-chain/etherium tech has promise to stabilize much of the corruption. As more and more alternatives to the status quo are introduced with escalating incentives to keep up with the competition... the establishments like paypal will have to keep pace and so become more fair to the public.
I am excited for the possibilities of Fiat adopting, and abandoning their system that has failed without exception historically.
The masses don't care about the fundamentals as long as it works for their needs and wants. So just like Switzerland, then India, and now Russia is doing by creating crypto-rubels... They are transforming their existing fiat to digital, and the underlying fundamentals should change for the better as well. -Regardless of the public knowing or caring about the fundamentals.
The promises and implications of a global economy, unified by the massive breakthrough that I am using right now makes perfect sense. The beauty of a globally connected economy, means mass democratization through our vote that carries the most value, our dollas!
Exploitative scum who truly believe self interest is best, always flock to new opportunities and find a way to rip it off... But this only lasts until the people figure it out and boycott the bullshit. So I think patience and perseverance is what will get us past the gruff of adoption periods. I have no choice but to try to find an optimistic outlook, otherwise I might as well return to surviving in the wild as a recluse. Strength in unity, peace and democracy will prevail. But this requires diligent combat of corruption. Like whack-a-mole!
I accidentally posted this twice! Would love this great comment to be posted on the actual post.
Thanks! And sorry for the confusion :) @inexability
Love this view, but more importantly, WE the informed community must make the moves and share the information that shows others like a beacon in the darkness.. We must not stand for corrupt crypto leaders. And must stand strong together as a community.
