With platforms like steemit, that encourages people to think independently and discerningly through blog writing, software development, and video production it is giving a platform to send ideas into the world that pays for them in steem giving a high chance to people to get involved in knowing about cryptocurrency especially here in Uganda and we are expecting numbers to grow each and every day With so many people owning smartphones here and also the internet access that is nowadays cheaper than it was before . Remember cryptocurrency does not need infrastructure like other investments so that is giving it a high advantage of succeeding in Uganda.
It’s pretty clear that Bitcoin is revolutionary. It went from being magic Internet money that no one knew about to being discussed as a true store of value, providing seamless transfers of money and reliable compared to the banks.
The best part of cryptocurrency is that it is giving women a platform since here in Africa there has always been that difference between Men and women
The social and economic barriers that women in developing countries face every day are disheartening. Even though women's rights in Africa have taken many positive steps forward they remain at astounding odds with the standard found elsewhere in the world.
The end to end encryption and the overall authentication is enough for everyone's security given the standard citizenship security in each of these countries. The blockchain is not prone to the corrupt financial systems which can hinder transparency and financial rights and I think that's a great thing.
There is a reason one should allow such a system build up in their country.
Yesterday when I was doing a steemit promo along Kampala I landed on a lady that sells bags, shoes, and jewelry where payments can be made also in bitcoin. we discussed with her for about 30 minutes where she mentioned that there are several businesses in Kampala that also accept bitcoin so it is really interesting that businesses are accepting vital currencies, as they partner up with upcoming third-party bitcoins services that act as middlemen to facilitate the exchange of cryptocurrency directly to fiat currency
Over the recent years Africa has not been mentioned anywhere in the cryptocurrency users but of how all these things are looking, it will surely catch up and I personally second the blockchain endeavors in Africa.
Thanks for reading lets support the blockchain trend in Africa
