Hello steemians as I have posted here before I have purchased a basic 30$ bitcoin mining contract from Genesis Mining last month (on 6th August) and today I got my first payout form them after reaching the minimum payout. Please stop buying mining contracts. You will earn far less than simply buying the coin directly, in virtually all circumstances.
If you think otherwise, you have not accounted for the difficulty adjustments or the terms of the contract.
The payouts will be less, but I think it's like a safe game when compared to buying a coin directly as the coin may increase or decrease depending on the market. Also we need to follow lot of news to get familiar with all the stuff as some people might not have time for it. With mining you just buy a contract and wait for the payouts that's it and it requires very less effort. Well this is my view please share your view too so that I can understand better as I'm somewhat new to all this stuff : )
