Good one. It may very well happen within a month. Seems by end of year we'll likely see this event unfold. With that said, Bitcoin is far more stable because of it's simplicity. If it can get out of the scaling debate relatively unharmed with whatever solution is coming that can accelerate it's growth. With ETH, the moment ICOs start to liquidate their ETH holdings, go bust, and/or another bug is found it could cause ETH to tank. If any of these events unfold it may prevent the Flippening or reverse it for a period of time. Regardless ETH seems poised to overtake Bitcoin.

I totally agree. They serve two way way different purposes and the ICO craze is pumping ethereum. Long term Bitcoin(depending on what happens august 1st) is a safe bet in my opinion and I wont be worried until a coin like dash or litecoin catches up to bitcoin.

I'm hoping Litecoin actually picks up. It has been sorely lagging behind since it's boom to $38 at the beginning of May. Was it really only last month? I feel like the past three months has taken place over the span of years... so much is changing. Anyway, good stuff :)

Good job, you beat me to it. I was about to make a very similar post. I do agree. ETH is headed for number 1 spot.

ICO craze is just everyone wanting to jump into the coin ICOs that are only available for purchase with ethereum during their crowdsales as they are all being built upon the ethereum blockchain. and since people have been profiting with different ICOs the hype to keep buying into ICOs is building. And yes eth will be 1 soon but that doesnt matter too much for bitcoin imo.

What is the ICO and the craze surrounding it where does it extend to television, to the internet or newspapers.

ICO craze is simply tons of new coins are being built upon the ethereum blockchain and require ethereum to take part in the crowdsale. This in turn leads to increased demand for ethereum thus raising prices. Television, newspapers, etc. are mainstream and are pretty terrible at covering anything bitcoin related let alone a different cryptocurrency.
