Tron(TRX) the coin seeking to reshape the internet with what they call web 4.0 will be having two major events in just eight days. Frequently labeled a "pump and dump" because of the relentless marketing efforts of their Founder Justin Sun, Tron is truly a long-term HODL because of their extensive roadmap spanning 4 milestones up until the year 2027
From the official whitepaper: “Tron is a blockchain-based decentralized protocol that aims to construct a worldwide free content entertainment system with the blockchain and distributed storage technology. The protocol allows each user to freely publish, store and own data, and in the decentralized autonomous form, decides the distribution, subscription, push of contents and enables content creators by releasing, circulating and dealing with digital assets, thus forming a decentralized content entertainment ecosystem.’’
For now, Tron is an ERC-20 token but they will be launching their own main net in May 2018 moved up from the original debut around Q3. The Tron test net will allow developers to create and deploy smart contracts in a way that is better than Ethereum. The test net is expected to be similar to the main net so its success will be a signal to the success of the main net, which will be launched slightly over a month later.
On this very same day, Tron(TRX) will be implementing a coin burn mechanism which will cut some of their supply no word on if it will be a total or circulating supply burn but either would be beneficial since TRX has a total supply of 100 Billion.
Tron will definitely be here in the long term and getting in before these events will be very beneficial to anyone.
