Two interesting things I've seen discussed about technology and the changing job markets over the years is:
A) The fact that people are constantly forced to switched jobs to keep up with the changes, since lifelong careers are mostly a thing of the past.
B) Tech companies like Amazon, uber, Fedbook and others have gained an extreme advantage in their fields by being the first to market or the first to innovate a particular idea.
The interesting thing about this is the fact that these tech companies that everyone despises exist in the same economic atmosphere of change and turmoil, and with the advent of blockchain technology the markets are bound to change even more with new upsets and innovations that may put these tech giants out of business just like they did to so many others when it was their turn to innovate.
Decentralized dark web markets could easily replace and Amazon and sites like steemit and Dtube are already at work replacing Facebook and Youtube, while cryptocurrencies threaten the biggest monopoly of them all...Central banks.
As with any technology though, this is a tool, which could be easily used in our favor or against us, that is why the battle for this technology and the race to innovation is so important.

Nice
I'm betting on it.
That's true, in my opinion Blockchain Technology can replace or can give tough time to big giants of market because we can see that so many companies are introducing Blockchain Technology in their field and giant companies are also preparing or planning for Blockchain Technology, there is an bright future for Blockchain Technology. Thanks for sharing.
Have a great day and stay blessed.
I sure hope they can. I feel guilty every time I use one of the tech giants. I feel I'm genuinely doing nothing for the betterment of humanity.
I did see an ad on TV yesterday for an IBM block chain.
Block chain definitely can and will replace the tech giants of today. Those companies will have a hard time building their old business models on the new platform. The biggest reason is these companies rely on the centralized control and will not last on a decentralized model
This is completely false. All three of those entities, rather than being first, were takeovers of markets using covert government funds and methods. Myspace collapsed suddenly as Facebook took over the market. Ebay still exists while Amazon is taking over not just sales of books, but food, and commodities of every kind. Neither was Uber the first ride-sharing service.
First mover advantage simply paints a target on the back of the innovators, and the spooks and banksters take over their model and markets, with changes that provide advantages for the rentier class.
Steem blockchain has a critical flaw that is perfect for such forces when they move to take it over. Witnesses are elected by stake-weighted votes, meaning that the witnesses chosen by the wealthiest are those that control the code that runs the blockchain.
There is no example of a blockchain more susceptible to a Sybil attack than Steem that I am aware of.
Thanks!
great points. thanks for the discussion
