Thread about different cryptoassets in preparation!
I am a cryptoasset investor. I have read a ton of whitepapers to try and value a certain asset. This has always been kind of hard due to the technicality of these papers. I figured that the best way to actually learn something (cliché, I know ), is to try to explain it to others. So I will post case studies of these cryptoassets in the thread to come.
Couple things to know: I talk about cryptoassets because a lot of these so-called cryptocurrencies aren't currencies at all. They can be divided into 3 assets classes:
- Cryptocurrencies
- Cryptotokens
- Cryptocommodities
This asset categorization has been taught to me by the visionary Chris Burniske, in the book Cryptoassets. A must read for anybody who wants to get in to crypto-investing.
I will already spoil some of the major assets that will be analyzed: dash, ethereum, monero, IOTA, PowerLedger, TenX PAY Token, Ripple, litecoin and many more depending on whether or not my posts gain traction. It is a lot of work, as I will be filtering down the whitepapers into easily accessible and clear information. So traction will indeed be needed. In the comments you can vote which assets you would like to see first, the one with the most votes will be studied firstly!
These case studies will rely on the fundamentals, and some useful charts will occasionally be included to help you value these assets. Hope you'll all enjoy and follow the thread!
