Watch out for DASH - Masternode proposals are bleeding the network dry.

In many cases I would have loved Dash and invested many thousands of dollars.

Unfortunately the master node network has a disproportionate amount of people with multiple nodes who purchased many dash when the price point was low. Even if you were able to stump up the $267 060 USD to purchase 1000 DASH (at the time of writing) to get one master node you're still outweighed by people who own more than one.

Each master node gives you one vote on the dash network and with the current bar to entry being over quarter of a million USD you'd hope to have a reasonable stake at the table however if someone has 6 master nodes they will by far out weigh your vote and may have invested less than 1/10 of what you have later on.

I was very interested in the concept of a new DAO however even to submit a proposal it will cost you 5 dash.

Now to the point, people have submitted proposals, taken the Dash & enjoyed the benefit of having a pay day with limited accountability. One in particular that comes to mind is Amanda B Johnson, who submitted a proposal to create a show called Dash Detailed. She received nearly $200,000 USD (Todays price in Dash)

Recently she tweeted that she'll submit another proposal to the network for even more money? Looks like she's well on the way to becoming a Dash millionaire at the expense of people investing in the network.
Unfortunately, I can not post this tweet as when I challenged her on where all the existing investment has gone she blocked me.

The key here is avoid at all costs as scammers like this in addition to the insta-mine (quick mining by the developers) by Evan Duffield (Creator of Dash) puts Darkcoin (Dash's old name) in a very precarious position. Lots of people thought it was a scam following the pre-mine scandal, now with people draining the network and dumping the Dash to make themselves comfortable or wealthy means those of us who invested and held dash, even believed in the network as the fools funding this lifestyle.

Great concept but this looks like the next DAO to me. Expect major losses over time, particularly as Bitcoin forks into more usable units to compete with Dash.
