Here to announce that Max and I are going to be producing a new weekly cryptocurrency show for you. The exclusive first postings will be here on Steemit, but my question to you is: should it be audio only? Or do you prefer video as well?
Before you instinctively say video, just realise that many guests might actually provide better interviews off screen. Radio tends to get people to open up more as they're not self-conscious about their appearance or angle of camera etc.
There are plenty of crypto shows out there with tips on trading, etc, we won't be doing that. We're looking at big picture man on the moon and the great cheese pie in the sky stuff!
Anyway, I'd love your input in the comments section below!
Here's the artwork for the show:
Peter Schiff will be thrilled!
bahaha
Meubutty ajuu apalot
I'd love video, but I understand that's much more work. Looking forward to seeing it either way!
I would like to see a weekly live stream where you can engage a bit with the audience. Also, I do prefer video over podcast, but I’ve done my fair share of podcast listening! Excited for the new show!!
Hi Stacy and Max. You can do video and post it to DTube, as DTube uses the Steem blockchain, which means you earn Steem/SBD as you do for a normal Steemit post. It also therefore appears in everybody's Steemit feed.
https://d.tube
Looking forward to your new program. =)
Good point!!! I haven't used it yet. Will definitely give that a try. Thanks for reminding me.
Then, if you do decide to go the podcast / audio route, there's also DSound, which uses similar technology to DTube. So, DTube is to YouTube as DSound is to Sound Cloud.
https://dsound.audio/
This is one of the great things about the Steem platform, people can build atop of it and offer more options than those that already existed.
I haven't used DSound yet, but have viewed and uploaded videos to DTube. It works a treat.
I kind of think that audio only will be the best option as everyone on earth has a phone whereas not everyone has a laptop, lighting, camera, etc to set up for a video interview - the set up for our guest would require they do work for at least 15 minutes or so. Think the less we have to impose the greater variety of guests. Who knows. We can experiment with both options. Re: DTube - do I need to create a separate account or do I just use my steemit credentials?
You use your normal Steemit credentials. It uses an application layer called Steem Connect, so it never stores your keys.
If you do some searches, you will find quite a few tutorials on how use DTube. It is very streamlined. Here's one.

Only thing to keep in mind when posting a video, you have to assign at least one tag, and do not include the # symbol, otherwise it will complain with a generic error.
#video #cryptocurrency - Wrong!
video cryptocurrency - Correct!!! =)
If you have any other questions, let me know.
I listen to podcasts during the day whilst I work. So to be a bit selfish, audio is my vote !! Also like the sound of guests feeling more relaxed. And it avoids Max bringing plucky out of retirement, the more the better !
Todos en la tierra no comprenden ingles. Solamente Keiser report esta en español
By the way, I did try using dsound but it wouldn't accept my credentials, said my password was invalid even though I was able to use same to log on to dtube . . . Anyway, just using Archive.org for now.
I just successfully logged into DSound with my Steemit username and POSTING PRIVATE KEY. Did you use that key?
One of my favorite shows
+1 this couple is great! they are both smart and fun!
@keiserreport I love you both Max and Stacey! I am sure any option, audio or video will be great! Greetings from Cryptospain amigos! :)
Can we atleast get Max and Stacy on cam ?
Max Keiser beats 'Jamie Dimon' bankster
Sounds like a good path.
podcasts are so much easier to host and download.
Plus, now is the time when the people, and not just the geeks, need to learn about cryptos. What they are, and what they can do for them.
I enjoy watching the two of you, but it is perfectly fine to do audio only. I love the content you provide. I've learned a lot from the Keiser Report. Thank you so much 😊
Great idea! Can't wait!
Can't Wait!
I'd appreciate audio, so that I can listen in the car and use less data to stream. Thanks Max.
I second that. I much prefer audio over video with a simple download link so I can listen offline. Thank you!
Thank you Max (and Stacy!). Been following your work for years and have now added you on my HEROES OF TRUTH wall of fame list.
So, thank you for all your hard work and especially your sense of humor and making the difficult times fun and entertaining!
Great post..nice job..thanks for sharing us..@keiserreport
VERGE to the MOON!!
Would love to hear about how y'all got bitten by the Bitcoin bug. Where did you first hear of Bitcoin, what sold you and got you hooked?
Can't wait to watch!
Thanks; yes, that will be covered now that you have mentioned it! Maybe we'll do it with premiere episode?
Well, I can say that it was through watching Keiser Report that I first got interested (and educated) in crypto, major thanks Max & Stacy! I personally get to listen to way more podcasts than watch shows as I can listen while I work.
Either way, stoked you're doing this and look forward to it!
Great!
Audio's fine Stacy, thanks.
Cheers!
Yay! This is so awesome! I'm going to say video because it will be more valuable for you guys... and occasionally sound only if the interview calls for it. RESTEEMED!
Audio is fine IF you can pry more info. from your guest. I am looking forward to hearing it soon. Thanks y'all!!!
great post,nice job.
I love video but audio is also okay. Can you get Clif High to interview on his crypto data compilations? That would be awesome.
👍
Seems so interesting. Would be pleased to watch it 😍
Hi, I prefer audio only as I think it concentrates the mind and there are no distractions that way. Just my two cents.
I was gonna say video but your perspective changed my mind. Let's have it as an audio talks how and see how it goes! Thanks for this!
Awesome, I can't wait to see it (hint hint).
Although if it's just audio, that's quite alright. I consume most shows/podcasts while driving or doing things that don't require my visual attention.
Live Stream from the moon!
Nice post
So sweet. I like your picture.. Nice to hear that
We like both audio video
video for sure! podcasts are for ugly people and 2005
New to you guys. Interested in learning more about the show and checking it out.
Brilliant @kaiserreport! Yes I look forward to this. Audio suits me, I agree.
I know it's tricky now because what you guys say can effect markets in the short term, but it would be great to have more insight into various projects in the crypto space.
Steem on!
nice post,,i also love moon
A radio show would be great then I can listen whilst doing other things, meaning I not staring at a screen. Also make in on Steem. Bring it on guys can't wait 💯🐒.
I personally wouldn't mind if it was audio only because I usually don't watch the video anyway when I listen to interviews etc. Excited to hear/watch it guys!
Looking forward to it. This will be great. Audio quite ok for me.
Can you pls interview Jamie (small head) Dimon and take - him - apart.
Stacey, I listen to you and Max because you obviously have the pulse of what is going on in the financial world and to the moon. If you think an audio podcast will work best, then I am on-board. Will you still be doing the Keiser Report also?
Yes, we'll still do the Keiser Report! Always. Even if bitcoin gets to a million and we become gazillionaires! Having the show helped us discover bitcoin.
Informative news will do!
Amazing photo. You guys look F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!
Soooo looking forward to your crypto show!
Use audio only, I'd say.
Sounds awesome - happy with either video or audio
OK, if I have to choose, I prefer quality content over live pic. Let it be radio :)
what about both audio and video???
just re-encode audio only and cater for both
and don't forget who gave you this hint :-D
What about this as a theme tune for the radio
I want a live show in my crater room please. My address is the moon!
