Microsoft and its search engine Bing have decided to follow the same path as that taken by their rival Google. Bing Ads plans to stop the promotion of all projects related to cryptocurrency from late June or early July.
Bing Ads and Google Ads are the leaders in digital advertising and allow companies to display the promotion of their choice through strategic locations on websites. Tools of crucial importance for mass marketing, these services were used by many blockchain projects to hope to convert a large number of Internet users into investors. The ban on Bing Ads cryptocurrency ads puts a stop to the last resort of these companies.
Indeed, Facebook was the first to announce the refusal to publish these advertisements, followed by Google, then Twitter in March. Unlike these, Bing explains that this action is the result of the illegal aspect of cryptocurrency. The non-regulation of these virtual currencies can lead users to scams, which Bing wants to avoid.
This is bad news, however this official announcement from Bing is not final. Once the regulators have clarified the nature of these new currencies, nothing will prevent them from re-appearing in Bing's advertising inserts.

They all working with big brother to ensure crypto doesn't adopt as fast as it could, is the real reason. They want control first before allowing bigger adoption. The more regulated it is, the faster we can "adopt". So best way to promote crypto & blockchain? Using decentralized platforms.
