SingularDTV (SNGLS) recently caught my eye. The first place it caught my eye was as a recommendation from one of our Steemit Witnesses - Jerry Banfield

SingularDTV's vision is to create a decentrialized entertainment industry and distribution platform. Fans of the company like to say that its a Netflix killer. I'm not going to re-hash what SingularDTV is. If you are interested in knowing more about SingularDTV this is a good FAQ:
Ok so why the increased interest now? A few reasons that I can tell:
SingularDTV is one of several coins that Binance will add to their exchange (the others are STRAT, XVG, BQX, SONM) by the end of September 2017 [Note: I thought I read that SNGLS might be delayed getting on there, but Binance working to get it on there soon)
With Gramatik news (see article above) it is starting to prove that its platform works. Gramatik is not a small artist and in my opinion, its a huge PR win.

Assessment: If you are looking for a short-term bump then I think SNGLS will get it when it is added to Binance. It is already on some big exchanges so it has good volume. Another exchange certainly doesn't hurt. I think SNGLS is an attractive long-term play at current prices. Looks like the worse you can do is 0.09 cents. It has a nice MC at 110million. Still room to grab good multiples (baggers).
I think a lot resides on adoption rate and eventual acceptance by the mass market. If SingularDTV has the ability to weild influence with star creators like Gramatik I think it will take off. If not, will it open up oppurtunities for other competitors? Or will the model of a decentralized entertainment industry die off completely? I don't think so. The entertainment industry is full of middle men. I think blockchain disruption has a great chance in the entertainment industry. Someone is going to disrupt it. The question is will SingularDTV do it or someone else down the road.

I did a bit of research on this one a while but didn't get too deep into it, I think I will now. I tend to like "coins" that are more than just a currency.
