Retiring on Cryptos

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

How much crypto will you need?

Well that all depends on which cryptos you hold and your hodl-ing them as opposed to spending them.

Let's start with a hypothetical $100,000.00 portfolio balance.

Now a 6 figure income per year would suit many lifestyles in a good degree of comfort. A 100k balance, with a modest 80% yearly gain in value would yield $80k per year in capital growth... nice but not reaching the goal yet.

@80% yearly gain you need $125,000.00 in capital to reach $100k.

As increasing your holdings to the 6 figure range for most folks is daunting, additional strategies may be needed.

Alt Coins Strategy

Instead of relying solely on the capital growth of held coins, we also need to invest in the Alt Coin Market as well as the Cryptocurrencies.

  • Proof of Stake Coins - bearing interest like Tenex (PAY), or the future ETH
  • Building Coins - Like ETH & Soon EOS, that fuel Alt companies
  • Working Coins - Like SALT & PPT, where you can lend with interest accrument
  • Dynamic ICO's - Like VERI & OMG that turn ETH into more substantial earnings
  • Diversified Portfolio - Holding core as well as diversified coins help offset downturns

These are only a few ways you can develop enough passive, non taxable income to fuel your portfolio and gain you that 6 figure retirement income. There is varying degrees of risk involved that you must first research (do your own due diligence - your first priority and personal responsibility).

Projections

This information was projected with current averages, this will vary with time. A lower average will of course add time to the overall strategy as well as require more capital. However as we are still only in the innovator stage at less than 1% adoption, once we move into 3% Early Adoption Stages... these projections will be far less than potential projections, which will see you retired far earlier!

The cryptos are an opportunity for your personal wealth, comfortable retirement and safety net.

It really depends on what your expenses are, ie how much does it cost you to maintain the lifestyle you're looking for, and it depends on how much increase in value there is over time for whatever cryptos you hold - so I mean there's a whole lot of assumptions here that you'd need to make and calculate for yourself.

Isn't that always the way?

Great information of finance. your good idea is invest cryptocurrencies. thanks for your post. 100% like and resteem

Just thinking on paper (so to speak)

I'm agree with you @kyusho

hahahha. Yes Yes

Today, people are talking about crypto.
including me, but I will get it
If it continues to learn from you and the
a smart

It is still only a few percent of the people talking... should be fun when that changes.

Hope it helps a bit.

Retiring would be nice, haha.
Anyway, I was looking at Iconomi's BLX it includes like 20 currencies which gives a great option for long term investments. It doesn't need to grow 100%, I'm thinking of depositing something small every month, like 50€ and with the BLX's adaption to the market, I could get a nice amount of money over time, with at least 10% growth every 6months, I could be able to live from it in no more than 5-10 years with smaller risks than I would have with ALTcoins.
What do you think?

I can only think in personal terms and not give advice. First I will never retire until forced to... I like doing stuff to much and growing things like my business... but I am aiming at a security income sooner than later (within a few years at most). Adding monthly is great though, even small amounts as the become cumulative (dollar cost averaging theory). 10% growth in anything is great... can't get it in a bank and that's what many outside the cryptos miss. (PS I only have 50% in Alts).

_**One more PS, This is only a game for me... I am playing only with loosable amounts of initial investment, then a bit of trading to grow it).

Yes, I can totally agree with everything you said. And I am doing and aiming to do similar as you said.

Great bit of information to read here! pleasure thank you @kyusho

I hope some of the thoughts help in some way.

i was thinking about it in a dream that how much can we invest and see its return when Retiring haha :D it was good to read your post

Dream on!

Your article made me dream awake. Do you really believe in 80% yearly gain? Considering that the stock market projection (if you are good at it) is estimated to 10-15% yearly gain. I would want to believe and be very hopeful in that big gains. :)

Well last year Bitcoin was over 700%, do you think those returns are over? Then what about SALT or Veritaseum, Or ETH, LTC, etc. We are at the beginning and most certainly will see a portfolio increase that much... the stock market is supported by the government, if we calculate anything by that metric, (also like gold and silver "spot") we are in false metric paradigms where nothing is real.

I definitely believe like you that this is the beginning. I loved and agreed with your video in "Wreaking Havoc". I believe a lot of changes are coming and we will be rewarded plenty in the long run.
