I was wondering what strategy of investment/trading cryptocurrencies has given the best results for each of you.
For me I started by buying bitcoin and ethereum, keeping it a while and sell it after the price went enough up. I mean couple of months for bitcoin and less for ethereum. After that I started trading them on Polo and Bittrex and recently I also started to invest in ICO's.
I think for me the best it is a combination of them, like trading for some short term profit which I invest it in ICOs and long term buys. From ICO's if you choose it wisely you can at least double your investment easily from beginning of token launch on exchanges. So you would have more money to invest. The biggest problem for me is my dynamic personality which makes me inpatient when I see my buys are staying at the same price and others go up, I tend to lose my patient and start trading them which sometimes was good and sometimes not :)
So, which strategy has given the best results for you:
- Buy and hold for long time (weeks, months or more)
- Trade on short term movements with entry and exit points
- Buy regularly, every month like for the long run
- Buy and hold the best coins and add more when the price goes down
- Buy ICO's and sell them at launch on exchanges or keep the best of them for long therm
- Other :)
I like Litecoin. It is great for long term investments.
Yes, indeed. Litecoin has proved a good choice even when the market was red.
HODL, mid/long term. Unless you want to risk, then ICO.
I agree. I think choosing a good ICO it's a fast opportunity to grow big. I've just started with ICO's but some friends have doubled their investment pretty fast with ICOs. Regularly hacked.com publish also reviews for different ICOs and give them ratings based on different topics, so it's a pretty reliable source of choosing your next good ICO.
For me DBIX. It was 0.0007 btc about 3 months ago and now more than 0.01 BTC.
Did you buy it on exchange when it had a low price or you buy it at ICO. It really had an amazing grow.
