DECRED + EXODUS + Lightning network = AWESOME!

In the newest version of EXODUS - which is a wonderful and beautiful wallet for PCs - DECRED is supported.

For those of you who don't know what DECRED is, it is a currency with its own blockchain and some badass developers who have already managed to implement lightning network.

DECRED currently sits at 31 on coinmarketcap:

I was a little skeptical of DCR because they are 1/2 and 1/2 PoW and PoS. Furthermore, their PoS system through their wallet is a little complicated for my taste.

In fact, after transferring some DCR to my DCR wallet, I had almost decided to move it to some other currency. I was all set to transfer it to EXODUS and then Shapeshift it into litecoin or bitcoin or ETH and be done with it.

Well - I put in the address on my DCR wallet (which actually had a bug that wouldn't let me use decimals,) and hit SEND.

AT THIS POINT - MY MIND ABOUT DCR WAS PROMPTLY CHANGED!

The transaction hit my exodus wallet almost simultaneously as I hit the send button. IT WAS AMAZING.

FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN A TRUELY FUNCTIONAL WALLET AND CURRENCY - CHECK OUT DECRED, coupled with EXODUS. IT IS AMAZING!

Below are some pictures of the EXODUS interface with DECRED.

Can you encrypt your exodus wallet?

I believe they are already encrypted, see below:

from EXODUS:

Where are my private keys stored?

The private keys to your blockchain assets are generated and encrypted locally and stored on your computer ONLY. These keys never leave your computer, they are never stored on the cloud, and they remain 100% for your eyes only, 100% in your control.

Nice, thanks for the tip.

Does the Exodus wallet do POS?

I doubt it.

Nice post I resteem this :)

Very good post. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The biggest group of uneducated investors in mankind has to define the trustworthyness and price of a crypto. It's an interesting world we live in. I was wondering if anyone of you uses: https://www.coincheckup.com. I really missed a platform that analyses every single coin in depth but this site gave me all the answers.
