It's been almost exactly a year to the day since I first made the decision to invest all of my savings into a combination of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Thought it would be fun to reflect on that and some of the lessons I've learned from doing so in today's video.

You must be in a really good position financially because of your move, surely you can afford more than one video game ;)
Nice. My 1 year anniversary of going all in on crypto will be at the end of May.
Congrats on the gains you've made so far!
Thanks you too! I wish I lived outside of the US so I could participate in more ICOs but it's whatever I'm still able to grab coins after they hit exchanges and dump.
Always best to let ICO coins hit the exchange and wait for investor boredom before the project is launched. Look at MaidSafe lol
I usually sell my position when an ICO hits exchanges then buy back in after the dump if it's a project I believe in. That way I can take some profit plus end up with more than I had originally.
excellent choice
wow! Congratulations. I’m still on my way to learn how cryptocurrency works. 😊
I am still slowly learning my way round , yes I did think fiat was something to do with that car maker , and think what the heck !!

I really like your story in your cryptocurrency investing - I had a great year as well. But more remarkable to me would be to learn and follow your example of how you have built such a great following Steemit and YouTube!

Great video. I made my first investment in crypto in January 2017. I have been lucky and seen a really good return. Yes, I invested into something that I did not truly understand, and that is extremely volatile. I am thankful for my luck rather than my savvy investment skills.... Initially I only focused on Bitcoin. Since then I have built a portfolio of around 15 projects that I believe in for the long term. In today's market there are way too many coins and tokens without a real use case and without fundamental value drivers. Eventually this will blow up and we will see a real market crash. Nobody knows when so be careful out there.
I agree that there are too many coins with great ideas and no way to implement. There will be a shakeout and the platforms that do have the organization to get their systems working and adopted, will make today's investors a great deal of wealth.
Many people, including myself, get too caught up in the short term swings - instead of taking the 5 year approach of building and holding a well diversified portfolio.
The streaming speed and quality is so much worse on DTube than on YouTube. I hope it is going to improve in the future.
its a good idea to include the youtube video within this post too - but it takes an extra step of doing the youtube video, and then doing the dtube video so the youtube url can be included in the description...
A really wise choice i might say i got into the world of crypto 3 months ago 1 month before the crash! i dont have a good profit but i learned so many things about cryptos that i fell in love with them! So now every month i get my salary a little bit of this money is going into cryptos!
I am doing much the same now with my cryptos - holding 40/60 alts/btc and adding on to diversify across a range of coins when I have new btc earnings come in.
