Only time will tell but I’ll never doubt your commitment or question your deserving!

Damnnnn Louis! Huge call but at least your are willing to either be wrong or right on your own volition. For that you deserve respect. Hope it all works out!

I am not sure what to think but I hope you make a lot of money. I will be staying in as well.

It has been a hard long year for crypto.

I think you’re crazy but I love it, we need people like you! « I couldn’t bear to wonder if I made the right decision » , lol.

Did you have to pay some kind of penalty for withdrawing an accepted offer?

Nope! In UK, both buyer and seller are free to pull out at any time before exchange of contracts :)

I'm glad to hear that! Where I live (Finland), there are two possibilities. If you're buying a piece of property and you will be a freeholder (because the current owner is), then you can pull out of an accepted offer without penalty. But if you don't own the land, then you can't. We typically own our homes (except if they are detached houses) through so-called housing corporations created to manage the common areas and shared structures of a single residential building larger than a single-family house or a group of them.

Some countries have what are called homeowners' associations but I'm not familiar with what exactly they are legally. Finnish housing corporations are non-profit corporations that own buildings at least 50% of the floor space of which is in residential use. They are legally required to hold certain annual meetings and they usually hire companies to do all or most of the day-to-day management including accounting and things like snow removal, small repairs or mowing the lawn in the common areas.

How does that work in the UK?

I did the same I alocated my money because of the Bitcoin all time low for this year but not that big though

You’ve got some balls I’ll give you that, I’m seriously looking at buying more myself but don’t forget eggs and baskets. Cheers mike

Damn Louis, you have balls, man. I hope it works out great for you! You're such a positive influence in crypto.

Warren Buffett says that buying his house was the worst purchase he ever made, because he could have made huge gains if he had used that money to invest in stocks. Good luck.

Probably a great decision as there are also some indicators that Real Estate are also at highs and will soon come down. It may be the switch of a lifetime as you can probably buy later cheaper with more valuable crypto!

Good move Louis! I would have done the same👍

I think you are a little bit crazy because i believe in crypto but i can't go with an all in so 50% of the your total money is great in my opinion in my case i spent at least 5000 USD in crypto and now i just have 500, so i know in the future 2-5 years i will have at least 50000. Regards

No doubt it's a crazy decision.but I think you will gain what you want.

Unfortunately, I don't have cash to invest and I'm not sure if this is the bottom, yet. I tend to agree with you in that 2019 will not see another bull run. I think that is probably going to happen in 2020 at earliest, triggered perhaps by the halving of Bitcoin mining rewards. SEC has been hemming and hawing for quite some time. Hopefully they will approve ETF's in the USA. But I wouldn't even mind if they took their time because, personally, I want to get accumulatin' when the cash situation improves. (Moved earlier this year and we still have stuff to purchase and older purchases to pay for.)

Bold move man! I wish you the best, love your content btw.

Real estate is not always as good an investment as most people seem to think it is. Commissions are high, ongoing maintenance cost are high, and grow of value is highly variable. Having said that diversification is good. You have already got in and out of equities. Now you throw over real estate for Crypto . Are you THAT sure Crypto is not a potential bust ? And if it goes to the moon...you are already in.
Yes. You are crazy. ( I want to be wrong about this, and I wish you well.....but ... I remain a Crypto-agnostic)

Crypto "crash" just means everything is on sale... Or at least that's what I tell myself 😂

The background here is so pretty :O You're in some lovely places. They seem like the beautiful places that populate my dreams. I wish I could visit someday and look at the landscapes.

That's a big choice, btw. I've never had to make it. My life savings were about $150 and I decided to put them in crypto. I lost them. :) Only $25 left of that now. All I have now I've earned here on Steem.

Right now I'm sleepily watching the charts. I want to sleep but every jump is a chance to either buy or sell, and these are crazy hours filled with opportunities.
