I'm getting a lot of questions from people asking if now is a good time for people to buy cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Thought I'd be share some thoughts on that in today's video.

Personally I think we are still in a bearish trend, although the price recovered a bit we have no confirmation of a change of trend. It seems to be a bull trap because the volume is still low. I share your idea of diversifying our investments in this moment.
This is the right time for new investors to come in, the dipping is bringing the price down for new investments to be initiated, because am optimistics the bitcoin/cryptos will retain its bullish status in no time, Louis I always like your review its built more confidence in me, I appreciated your post.
I’m actually buying now. Few days ago I bought ETH and some bitcoin. They doesn’t mean crypto won’t go down in my mind. I do think it will go even lower. If it does I will buy more. We shell see. Whether this bear market lasts until mid 2019 or not won’t matter. I’m in it for long therm. Anyway, good luck to everyone oncrypto investments.
I believe $6000 is a good entry point for bitcoin, I believe $1 is a good entry point for steem

IM no buying at this time at all either. I’m happy with what I have right now. However, if bitcoin goes lower to the point where everyone starts thinking it’s over for crypto, it will go to zero, than I use my additional fiat that I have put aside for crypto investment.
Investing is tricky, because it’s either really boring or a massive panic attack. In order to find the kind of approach that is best for you I suggest you follow Brian Adams advice

Prudent words as always. I do wonder about one point which of course you are not alone in making. I may be being unfair but I get the feeling that when you and others talk of “all time highs “ you believe it self-evident that sometime in the future these levels will again be attained. I am not at all sure that there is any solid reason to believe this. Bitcoin may prove to be an unmitigated success and achieve all the good we hope for it without ever being worth $ 20000 again. I do not know what price tulip bulbs reached ( in the equivalent of today’s prices) but I strongly suspect that they are cheaper now than they were during that famous bubble. Tulips are still with us. They are useful. Rather nice. However they were historically, not a good investment.
For me this down trend has longer to run and the longer it persists the lower we may go. I would therefore be very cautious , wait to see if previous support holds (6K USD) and only commit small amounts with tight stops. For me the following Chinese proverb sums up where we are at.
"Fish see the bait, but not the hook; men see the profit, but not the peril."
I am accumulating weekly as the price drops. I do have a large exposure to cryptocurrencies (25% of my net worth), but my risk tolerance is very high - I am happy to accept the possibility of total loss, in exchange for what I feel is a very attractive risk/reward ratio.
I bought into bitcoin for the first time ever at around the $8,000 mark. Fingers crossed on that.
Buy in the dip and sell in the rise, this has always been the ultimate formula. But also, dont invest what youre not willing to loose

I think it's absolutely the best time. There can't be a better time than this. The bad times are over for the crypto. But it important to note that you invest only what you can afford to lose. People should stop comparing the past to the future. So much has changed. Some people started seeing bitcoin at say $3k or $5k so for them this is very low and they feel they can get bitcoin cheap now. For some other people used to bitcoin below $1000 for them they will wait for below $1000 before they think it is it a buying opportunity.
In my opinion. now is not the right time to buy bitcoin.
because of the chart. still shows bitcoin prices will decrease in the next few hours. I will sell BTC $ 7500.

When this happens, it is estimated that the BTC will fall quite sharply.
Hopefully BTC support at $ 6300 is strong enough to hold.

ive invested enough in this market for now. i may add some more if the prices stay low or go lower, but what i would like is that the market bounces back enough to where i dont feel prices are good enough to keep buying lol

It's not timing in the market, it's time in the market. I am looking at a 5 year outlook so I am always buying what I can afford that will not risk my financial position.
