hey Louis nice video! I also like how you are creative with content recently!

Buffett doesn't need to invest in crypto, because there are enough opportunities in his circle of competence - undervalued stocks. He was right about the dotcom bubble, but he missed out on the likes of Amazon and Microsoft. I think the crypto market will be similar. There will be a whole ton of losers, but some very big winners.

steem has a better future we just have to be patient

Warren’s golden rule is to only invest in things that he understands.

Most people do not really understand Bitcoin and how to properly secure their coins and so even though they are benefiting now, in the longer term they may lose out due to being rewarded for their excessively risky behavior in the past.

The guy admitted he has no clue about that stuff
So no surpise.
But i have a slight suspicion that he might do in the future

crypto is for the next generation

I guess everyone is entitled to their investment opinions, for me i love bitcoin it has my respect. Warren Buffet definitely has his reasons, i doubt hes even a crypto enthusiast, it basically not for everybody

Though, everybody with his or her own taste, to me bitcoin remained the best in cryptos world, and it more preferable and it reliability, this is an interesting video by @louisthomas.

Warren Buffett is an excellent investor, he managed to make his fortune in a very smart way. But he's a guy from the old generation, I doubt he knows a lot about blockchain and cryptocurrencies so his opinion does not interest me.

More people need to take this stance. Just ignore him; he's not relevant in this space.

there will always be the people that are against progress.

it just so happens that one of them is buffet. now I love to watch buffets videos about investing and how he teaches our generation the ropes os I don't want to bash on him.

he has said it himself he does not understand everything the things he does understand, however, have made him a lot of money.

now it is our turn :)

thank you for this post!

I don't really care what anyone says. BTC will always be the king of the game. The whole cryptosphere is still at its infancy stage. I buy more BTC during dips and HODL.

The thing is, in life we may have great knowledge. At the same time we may not know all that there is to know.
Warren Buffet is a knowledgeable man with a good eye for investment.
But I guess he prefers to invest in banks than cryptocurrencies.

Hmmn more banks less or no cruptos

I can understand that Warren Buffett does not like BTC because he is orthodox in his methods.
Let us continue to progress the new generation and supporting the growing market

He doesn't like Bitcoin, because he doesn't understand Bitcoin. He turned-down the chance to invest in Amazon in its early days, he wouldn't invest in Google, because he didn't understand the Google algorithm. He also said social media was a fad that would pass. He's not an Oracle on all things.

Personally I don’t like Waren Buffet. He is just another government’s friend, or we can call it puppet as well, which makes him anti crypto. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was buying some crypto on the sidelines.

I have to agree with this. Not America's sweet-heart billionaire as he is painted by big media.

I belive tha Buffet said recently “if I don’t understand it, I don’t have nicest in it”. That may not mean he doesn’t like blockchain. He just invests his fortune where his profession is.

I would agree with this. But for some reason, he uses his clout to criticize crypto...not the action of an agnostic. If he chose not to invest because he didn't understand, that would be commendable. But "I would buy a 5 year put" doesn't reflect the attitude you describe. I, for one, am left to wonder if he has ulterior motives.

In my opinion I do not think it affects anything, everyone has their opinion and tastes when it comes to investing, BTC is still on top of the top and so it will be for a while.

Good luck my dear friend @louisthomas 👍😉😃

@WarrenBuffett says he isn't going to invest in cryptos and everything goes down

Well a lot of it is a bubble I agree but that doesn't mean there is no value in real ones like #BTC and #Ether

In my opinion. I am more optimistic about the predictions of some of these people. and I saw at the end of last year. btc prices go up. although the btc price is not up to $ 1milion. but for sure the btc price will always be high

wow,its so great discussion of investig crypto.now the worth of crypto is increasing day by day .so it need to invest.i love this advice

Hardly do we come to hear some big gun doesn't like bitcoin. Strange it is... He doesn't know about the future...

Nice video, always good to be reminded of the basics. Yes Warren isn’t investing and that’s for good reasons. Not because crypto are bad investment but because he doesn’t get it. I don’t get how stocks work so I don’t invest either. Everyone should invest in the area they are the most confident in, especially when money is at stake.

He said that he would bet on their price declining over the next five years if he could. He also said that investors would not be able to value the world's largest cryptocurrency by market cap because bitcoin did not inherently produce value

I think I am a lot more skeptical about Warren Buffett than most people. That his method of investing is fundamental certainly explains why he is not interested in cryptocurrency as all of them are impossible to value as securities. But it doesn't explain some of his seemingly ignorant comments (about how Bitcoin is just a useful way to send money like check or how he would buy a 5 year put) make me wonder why he is so motivated to criticize crypto--a topic he's simply not an expert on. His views on crypto should be disregarded--it's too bad he uses his popularity to weigh in (and get's a lot of attention).
