About Aethia:

Aethia is basically a online Tamagotchi for Crypto gaming. If you don't know what a Tamagotchi is, its a small is a handheld digital pet. You first receive it as an egg, and you must look after it and train it as it goes throughout the stages of its life.

Aethia is creating a game just like this. There is still limited information so far, but I will tell you every there is to know. The developers intend to keep Aethia ‘Free to Play' unlike most other Ethereum based games. The only necessary cost would be the ‘gas fees’ which individuals need to pay to conduct transactions on the Ethereum Blockchain.

As of now Aethia is in Pre-Alpha stage. You are currently able to reserve an "Omega" egg and a "Referral" egg. Every two hours ten "Omega" are released. Aethia will be entering Alpha Stage 1 on February 19th.

Aethia creatures are called Ethergotchis. Over time your Ethergotchi's will mature, their stats will increase and they will be worth more. Similar to Cryptokitties there will be an auction house type system where you will be able to buy and sell your pets. your Ethergotchis are valued on different attributes such as stamina, dexterity, career path and social standing.

The Ethergotchi has 3 phases:

Egg
Child
Mature

Each creature will have five attributes:

Stamina
Charisma
Dexterity
Intellect
Strength

Your pet will be able to perform different tasks such as:

Breeding (most important feature as it allows you to make new Ethergotchis)
Teaching
World Architecting

In order to play, the player must have either Chrome or Firefox installed along with MetaMask. MetaMask is an Ethereum Browser which you will use as your Ether Wallet!

If you get people to join Aethia over your link you get FREE eggs. The more people join, the rarer the egg you will get. If you get enough refs you could get a 100 ETH worth Legendary egg! Yes, thats right, 100 Ethereum. (currently worth 86 000$).
