Artificial intelligence is a valid concern. As is radically corrupt value/money distribution. I get a lot of flack from voluntaryists/anarchists when I start talking about how we may need a UBI powered by the blockchain. As a programmer, I've done a lot of thinking about the morality of AI as well.
It's possible ignorance is the source of fear here. When people don't understand cryptocurrency they fear it. They aren't familiar with it. Dollar bills they know, so they feel comfortable, even if 90%+ of the purchasing power of the dollar has been stollen from them over the last 100 years or so... they just smile and move right along with familiarity.
I've provided you with a lot of content from books, to videos, to infographics explaining my position. If my opinion is flawed, I'd love to see good critiques and alternative explanations.
