The euro a very Corrupt kind of money

So Im not very inspired today as far as posting is concerned, But I have managed to spend the last 2 hours speaking to a group of people about cryptocurrencies  and managed to get them quite interested. Its not easy talking to especially people here in Spain about this subject as we always seem to be the last to adopt new technologies and people here prefer to just watch television and complain about how corrupt our politicians are.

I insist on telling them that we are all to blame for a faulty democratic system that benefits few people

Its not easy convincing people of the change that is to come, and how the blockchain will change the world. But Im pretty damn stubborn and I just keep going on until they start to understand what Im telling them.

Spanish people are in love with a cash system

I tell them that cash is already on the brink of being abolished and that in the next 2/3 years we will not be using paper money anymore. This they don't like to hear because its the only type of economic freedom that they still have. Our money policies have already been changed in such a way that every year the amount we can spend and deposit in euros into a bank account gets reduced. For example on january 1 of this year the limit was reduced to 1000€ its expected to drop to 500€ at the end of this year.

Inflation is a lie

Another hard concept to educate people on is that our money supply keeps getting expanded without any general publics knowledge or consent, we get told all the time by mainstream media that products get more expensive over time and thats the main reason why we cant buy products and services for the same value that we did a few years ago.

BIG LIE...

In the end and after having to explain several times the same reasons for my love of cryptocurrencies and a decentralized system I think these people really started to ask themselves the kind hard  of questions that they have never thought about before.

Feels good!!

In other news I think I finally found a restaurant that will accept Steem in my new home town, hopefully in the next few days I can post about it and tell you all about this new establishment that will expand the already existing places nearby where anybody can pay for food and drink in exchange for steem.

Hello @mallorcaman

So nice to read about your marketing in Mallorca. We promote STEEM to shops in Norway. It is not so easy because we are early adopter. We have only a few shops so far but we will not stop.

We wish you all the best in your effort

PS. If we come to Mallorca on a holiday we will tell you. Maybe we could eat together and spend some STEEM there?

That would be so awesome, Im really looking forward to this!

The death of money as we knew has started.

Great work promoting Steem. It's great to see more places willing to consider accepting crypto.

Also very interesting news about the restrictions on cash. There are similar restrictions creeping in all over the world. If Spain is so in love with cash you never know it might be at the forefront for adopting crypto, especially when these new controls kick in.

is it possible to buy STEEM with Euros? It seems that we can only do so with Bitcoin, on this site anyway.
