So as I write this; IOTA is worth $3.65 USD for 1 MIOTA or a million iotas. IOTA is the backbone of the Internet of things preparing for computer to computer commerce and is way ahead of its time. Especially when miners are corrupting bitcoin due to greed much the same way governments do with fiat. Mining fees are out of control and so is power consumption to run the network. Something like IOTA is the answer where everyone is networked and instead of mining; you must do the work of two transactions in order to perform one - a network titled tangle. It is the future. As word spreads well... people hear about it and want in. This is where they are being scammed.

Where you and I may know about Coinbase, Exodus, Bittrex, Binance. Ways to get IOTA. Well other people may resort to EBAY. Because it is easy to trick someone where IOTA is sold by the millions for a fee rather than individual iota. Just look at this screen shot of the first few listings that pop up for IOTA.

The very first one is selling 10 MIOTA for 97 USD which would be $9.7 each MIOTA which is 2.7x the price. The 3rd one down is selling 1 MIOTA for 29.69 which is 8.25x the price. The appeal is your getting 1 million IOTA... so technically they are not lying but merely taking advantage of those not educated enough about the crypto.
