West virginia is launching a pilot program for mobile voting for the upcoming primary elections on May 8.
The program is currently available in two counties and only available for military personnels.
After 2016 general elections, amid the noise of Russian meddling, government is exploring the options to
make electoral process more secure and resilient. If the pilot program is successful, West virginia will make it available
for the general elections as well.
Voatz, a boston based start up is developing block chain based voting system to make the voting secure, safe using
full encryption on transmitted data.
